Chicken Satay

Yeah, yeah. there’s no such thing as chicken satay.

Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground white peper corns
  • 1/2 tsp ground corriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp palm sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp tumeric poweder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbap pomegranate syrup
  • 125 cup coconut milk
  • 500G chicken, sliced into even strips
  • small bit of chopped cilantro (for garnish/final topping)

Steps

  1. Combine and marinade for 2 hrs min (overnight good)
  2. Grill
  3. Without grill, try broiling 5 minutes/side
  4. Or just pan fry, but the sauce will get very stuck to pan. nonstick if possible
  5. top with cilantro
