Solero Margarita

This tastes a lot like the tropical solero, but in margarita form!

Main

Ingredients

• 1/2 Pitcher:
• 200ml Tequila
• 125ml Lime Juice
• 1 passoin fruit (strained)*
• 20ml blood orange
• 100ml Cointreau
• 60 ml simple syrup*

Steps

1. salt rim**
2. mix ingredients in container
3. pour out 2 drinks-worth into shaker with lots of ice
4. shake a lot
5. pour into glass over fresh ice

Notes

• • cut the passion fruit in half, scoop out and strain through fine seive into rest of juice
• • to taste. it needs a lot more than you think
• • i can’t recall if this was the right amount for half or a quarter pitcher. that is, the orange juice and passion fruit ratio might be wrong for aclchohol and lime. try again with 80ml lime, and half as much alchohol.
• • tried doing this with a cream float. it tasted good at first, but then it curdled :-/
• • try egg wash?
